Match Report – HFLFC v Goring CC

Worthing & Horsham District Sunday League – vets division Sunday October 15th 2017 – TD Shipley

Hills Farm Lane Vets 11 (eleven) –0 Goring CC Vets

Manager – Mark Murphy

A stunning display of attacking fluidity and strength saw Hills Farm Lane send a message to the rest f the league that this could well be their year! The whole team fizzed with confidence and (for most of the game) the team played with a smile and a flourish.
The dynamic duo twin strike force of Karim Hamouda and Gavin Edwards ran riot with 7 goals between them whilst Kev Boyle chipped in with one and super sub debutant Diego Garcia scored a beauty.
The defence was, as usual, strong and reliable, marshalled expertly by Tommy Burnside and protected in centre mid by Gareth Jones and the human dynamo, Liam Kelly
Hills farm could have, and should have, scored more but had to settle for just the ELEVEN.
