The new Men’s Shed at Shipley is equipped with a full range of wood working machinery and is now up and running with a core of members eager to demonstrate and further explore their creative talents.
From bat and bird boxes, to bird tables, benches and fences, a wood store and even a small bridge have been created by this growing group of able men, with plenty more product ideas to eventually make and possibly sell with various on-site and off-site projects to pursue.
Come along to Shipley on a Tuesday morning from 9.30 onwards and enjoy a cup of tea, a chat, and just imagine what you can achieve together in a very friendly environment. We are seeking to expand the sessions to Wednesday and Thursday as the number of attendees increases.
